Casco Bay Community Support Services is looking to hire both full and part-time Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians/Community (MHRT-C) Case Managers and Skills Development Workers in the Portland area for its Community Integration Programs.
Case Managers support clients with a mental health diagnosis to overcome barriers and connect with community resources to live a healthier and more personally rewarding life. To be successful in this role, applicant must be a self-starter who is organized and has good attention to detail.
Skills Development Workers provide teaching-based services to clients, helping them to improve or learn new skills necessary to live more independently and become involved in their community. Program participants are supported in their efforts to make informed, healthy choices that promote physical and emotional well-being.
Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician MHRT-C Requirements:
Applicants must have their MHRT-C or be eligible for a MHRT-C provisional certification. Job Seekers with the following related degrees are encouraged to apply: Art Therapy, Behavioral Health & Human Services, Community Health, Criminology, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, and Sociology.
Applicants need to successfully pass a criminal background check, have a safe driving history, reliable transportation and automobile insurance.
Compensation and Benefits of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician MHRT-C:
Hourly rate of pay is between $20.00-$22.00 an hour to start. Rate of pay is based on previous work experience in the mental health field.
* Full-time employees are eligible to accrue up to 5 PTO days per calendar year
* Full-time employees are eligible to receive up to one week of paid vacation time after one year
* Full-time employees receive five paid holidays
* Agency provides clinical supervisions twice a month, training and continuing education to maintain MHRT-C certification.
The state of Maine requires Skills Development Workers to have their COVID vaccinations.
